What cover is available for marine and stock-throughput?
Marine insurance – which is the origin of non-marine policies (including personal and commercial policies) that are so common today – typically provides cover for the movement of cargo by sea, air, road or rail. Considering the array of risks in this important industry, this cover is best handled by a specialist broker who understands marine insurance terminology, the Institute Cargo Clauses and the international terms of trade.
